I would check them each day and one box would have almost ripe, next box had just turning and the last box had all green. Was easy to check them that way and not end up with rotten or moldy ones. I had them on the chest freezer and the boxes got mositure in the beginning so dried them and put the boxes on cookie sheets. Was so easy.<BRJean Merrimanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10135474696468199060noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7113123529932691813.post-51984779569909706392008-11-20T22:20:00.000-06:002008-11-20T22:20:00.000-06:00Ms Tina and Skeeter:I'm jealous!Nuff said.Ms Tina and Skeeter:

I'm jealous!

Nuff said.TChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04005938156720914381noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7113123529932691813.post-69250441163298858372008-11-20T22:03:00.000-06:002008-11-20T22:03:00.000-06:00Everything looks so organised and clean. An unheated room in the house or even heated will also work. Generally they take from 2-3 months to dry. Occasionally you turn them. They get moldy, it is normal. Once dried you can hear the seeds. Then you have to scrub the gourds with a steel pad in bleach. I will post on it when I do mine.
