I was in the Great Smoky...I love all your pictures. I was in the Great Smoky National Park (I think), a place called Cosby Campground. Upon entering there are tons of warning that it is a Habitat for bears. NEVER in a million years did I even give it a second thought except to make sure my food was put away. But the FIRST day there we saw three black bears. Two of them were less than a hundred feet from a trail head.
