That's a great name for you kitty Tina! One of my favorite cats of all time was our orange tiger stripe Tigger, who grew up with my kids and lived to 17 years. Orkin looks just like him!
I thought Orkin was a girl... Hum, either way a beautiful kitty that reminds me of my beloved Skeeter! OJ the orange kitty next door is starting to join us in the garden! Yeah, I have a garden buddy now! I hope to see very few moles and voles this year due to my new buddy... Watch out birds!
Yes, great day in the garden today. Lots and lots to do-does it ever end? Orkin is a little girl, however she does not mind being called a boy or anything else at all, as long as she has her food, her box and her comfy outside chairs. Back to the garden I go!! Hi ho! I am not sure if my feeder is working right on Blogger, if I miss some blogs, this may be the reason. Sorry-hopefully it will clear up soon as it has been behaving badly-anyone else with issues with it? I am still checking Blotanical, and Stuart posted he is trying to fix the picks issue. It will work out:) ciao!
...she looks like a little "Garfield", you know him? :) A nice cat. She is the owner of your garden, so she looks... ha ha :)), dear greetings from Kessi
Hi Tina,I finally got here! It's been a long time. I'm at a new house, with a new garden and new challenges, and as you know, I'm not really a gardener, so I'll need some help!
Hi Tina, Orkin sure is a handsome fellow. FYI you have mistakenly thought I was still living in New Zealand. I actually live on Whidbey Island WA and have for the past 28 years. Jennifer
Just catching up with posts today, and I see how busy you have been planting your renovated planter--looks good! And I'm happy you found a solution to the squirrel damage on your crabapple. I hope it has a few more blooms for you this spring. You know I never really noticed lichen before--very interesting. And I vote to leave the moss around your pavers:)
Aww, so nice to have a photogenic kitty!
ReplyDeleteIt does look like he posed for the picture. Love his coloring.
ReplyDeleteHe's one plump kitty! Fearless!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a pretty happy cat!!
ReplyDeleteHave a great day Tina!
Tabbies are so full of themselves with their cattitude. But still, they're awful cute (we have two).
ReplyDeleteHe's the same coloring as my Moochers. Looks like they are both big boys. :)
ReplyDeleteHe looks happy! Our neighbors cat caught me a mole this weekend. It was so nice of it to leave for us! ;)
ReplyDeleteGood morning Tina- so nice Orkin could send a morning greeting. He is a cutie.

ReplyDeleteOrkin is profound! And the look on his/her face says "Of course I'm gorgeous, and you're right to admire me."
ReplyDeleteTina you're right, Orkin does look a lot like Tommy! He even has the same knowing expression.
ReplyDeleteTina,

Great day today all! I am so glad to hear you all are also enjoying the garden in some way or another-even northern readers and those getting snow!
