As if three bottle trees were not enough I decided to add another one to the mix! I stopped by a local nursery called Mary's Gardens recently. They were having a 60% off sale of all items in the gift shop. I couldn't resist this under $10 tree (including tax) and bought two. One for my mother and one for my newly married daughter.
This bottle tree is made to be hung and can hold large bottles such as the wine bottles you see displayed on it (Thanks Skeeter!).
Stop by Mary's Gardens and see if they have any more of these bottle trees left and you'll be happy....

ReplyDeleteThat is a neat bottle tree. I have a blue bottle 'bouquet' in my main garden. I've saved some green bottles to make another one next. They add a nice touch to gardens.

Good morning! Hot and humid here but rain is due.
ReplyDeleteDawn, No doubt!
Flowerlady, A nice touch indeed.
Wondered if those were wine bottles--now I know! Cute idea to hang it.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend Tina. They are prediciting a rainy one for us!
Seems like a GREAT price for a clever "take" on bottle trees. I wonder if I'd find any around here????
ReplyDeleteNow that's a new twist on a bottle tree! I've never seen a hanging one before.--Randy
ReplyDeleteI'm guessing it should sway in the wind or even turn? Would be neat to see the sun reflect through them turning.
ReplyDeleteWhat a clever idea! I might have to start drinking more wine to create one for myself--but I'd only want wine that came in blue bottles:)
ReplyDeleteI love those blue bottles. What a pretty color with the sun shining thru them.

Love it! I have got to get a bottle tree! Carla
ReplyDeleteWhat a neat idea for a hanging one. I love those colored bottles.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great bargain for an interesting piece of garden art. :)
ReplyDeleteI really like the hanging tree, Tina. I have a swingset that is no longer used where one might just be able to find a home;-) I would like to have some red bottles on mine, along with blue...and any other colors I might be able to locate. Sounds like I might have a little 'project' on my hands now--(not that I haven't already been busy with others!). I have several blue bottles already saved for such an occassion. Now, where to find the red ones...?!
ReplyDeleteA nice focal point for your garden and your daughter's. I love bottle trees, and I've never seen a hanging one.~~Dee
ReplyDeleteThat sure is nice. I've never heard of a hanging one. I am still trying to work on the original.
ReplyDeleteVery cool little bottle tree, and a nice bargain too Tina!
ReplyDeleteHow could you possibly resist that? And for under $10?? You got a deal!
ReplyDeleteI sent the "free running" books last week - you should get them any day now!
I like that one a lot~I would love one that hangs on the wall...gail
ReplyDeleteA nice way to get color in the garden, and you don't have to worry about watering or fertilizing it!
ReplyDeleteI hope they still have them at Marys Gardens when I am back up there in June! I could so see one of these in my gardens and the Saint likes this one too :-)
