From In the Garden |
This blog is as much a family album as a garden album so I am sharing my wonderful children on here, we'll be back to gardening after this brief interlude but today is a perfect day since it is right after Mother's Day.
I am the proud mother of four beautiful children who live their lives in various spots around the country. It just so happened one of the twin daughters (Liz) was recently married; which brought all four children together in one spot. A great opportunity for a photo op!
Let me present the children from left to right: Jimmy (the Jimster)-almost 16, Liz, (the smiling bride)-almost 29, Christy (a bridesmaid and older twin sister to Liz by one minute)-almost 29, and Brian (the oldest son)-25.
I hope all mothers had a great Mother's Day....

That's a really nice photo. Gosh! It's hard to believe they are 1 year from 30!
ReplyDeleteI know Dawn. It is unREAL how fast time flies!
ReplyDeleteThat is really a great picture of your kids! The bride certainly looks happy. I love her color scheme.
ReplyDeleteGlad you all got to be together and hope we get to see some more wedding pictures. :-)
Have a great week ~ FlowerLady
I left a comment earlier on your blog. Not sure if it went through. Anyway, glad you had a wonderful Mother's Day. Carla
ReplyDeleteTina,
ReplyDeleteMakes me wonder how in the world could you be 29 and your twins 29. Are you sure these are not your sisters! Nice photo!
What a great looking group photo. Hope you had a happy Mother's Day.
ReplyDeleteFlowerlady, It was a lovely time and the bride was most happy!
ReplyDeleteCarla, Ditto to you too!
Randy, Ha! We joke all the time with the twins that we not only look alike but are similar in our personalities (with one of the twins at least). Sisters-that might be a stretch but one I'm willing to try:)
GSS, Ditto to you!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful group photo. I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day.
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice photo of your children. I didn't realize you had twin daughters. :)
ReplyDeleteGood morning. You have a beautiful family.

Good Morning All.
ReplyDeleteTina, I'm glad you had a wonderful Mother's Day. Mine was good.
That is a great pic of the "kids". Not too often these days that you get a chance for a nice photo like this.
Have a great day all.
I hope you had a great Mother's Day! How was the wedding?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful daughters, handsome sons - no better flowers in the garden of life!
ReplyDeleteWhat a handsome group, Tina! You must be a very proud mama. I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day.
ReplyDeleteI truly hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day. Those are some very photogenic children. Pretty smiles.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great picture! I bet you loved having them all in the same place.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a wonderful Mother's Day!
What a beautiful picture of your children - great family. It's hard to get them all together once they've grown and live their own lives isn't it Tina? Wait 'til they're one year from '40' makes me feel soooooo old but true time flies.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great photo! AND I love Christy's Tattoo, I see it looks as if it continues to her back. I know some people don't like them, but I think sometimes they are great works of art. It looks very elegant on her, she carries it well.-- Randy
ReplyDeleteHandsome children. You have reason to be proud.
ReplyDeleteI attended the wedding once where the bride was an identical twin. It was fascinating to watch the bridesmaid twin watch her sister so intently during the ceremony.
Sweetbay, Ditto to you too~!
ReplyDeleteRacquel, Yup, I was blessed with twins. They grow up so fast.
Marnie, Thank you.
Lola, Thanks and so glad your day was wonderful.
Dave, The wedding was wonderful. Hey, the bananas decided to come back-evil things-so I dug out a WHOLE one that is perfect for you. It is standing by.
Rebecca, You are so right!
Rose, I am and ditto to you!
Rosey, Oh yes indeed, braces for twins are not any cheaper:) on the smiles. Thanks and I hope your day was great.
Catherine, It was so wonderful having them all together for sure.
Linda, I don't even want to think about it-boy where does the time go??
Randy, Thanks! I'm sure Christine will appreciate the compliment. Both twins and Brian have tattoos. The Jimster can't yet as mom and dad say no. But when he is of age I'm sure he'll be getting one. It seems to be rite of passage for young folks these days.
NellJean, These two are very close and it was interesting watching the guests trying to keep them apart:) They get mixed up all the time and I would always get a kick out of it.
ReplyDeleteLovely family! I can tell you are very proud of them.
ReplyDeleteI was just marveling how much your daughters look alike when I read they're twins. :) Hope you had a good day yesterday! (And always.)
ReplyDeleteI am sure this photograph will always be treasured. It is so hard to get adult children still long enough to photograph them all together.

Already having a problem with birds eating some of the plants:( They didn't bother them last year but this year they are chowing down. Have a great night! Ciao
