My Georgia Gardens are weed free (for the time being) and the house should be completely dust free by the time family arrives this afternoon! I have been moving like this BUSY BUTTERFLY, In the Garden...

Wow! Come do my house and gardens:) Have fun with your company. I've never seen a butterfly with that yellow stripe on its back. Very busy indeed!
ReplyDeleteI love watching the butterflies. I've seen a few of these black swallowtails here, but otherwise we haven't had many butterflies this year. I'm hoping they are just late arrivals.
ReplyDeleteA weed-free garden and a dust-free house?? I don't think I've ever been able to say that at the same time:)
Good morning everyone! Yes Tina, this was a different butterfly then I have ever seen in the garden. Really large too and it was busy busy busy getting that nectar.
ReplyDeleteI have the water sprinkler going and now to get back to the inside of the house....
Everyone have a great day!
Tina, I just looked in the butterfly book and think this butterfly might be the Anise Swallowtail.
ReplyDeleteI am sure that Randy will ID it for us as he is a great butterfly and bug ID'er...
I tried to find the butterfly in the book you sent me and coul not find it. There are many swallowtails but not the anise in the book. Pretty anyway.
ReplyDeleteHave a good visit with your vistors!
Afternoon All.
ReplyDeleteSkeeter that butterfly is gorgeous. Seems like I remember seeing one of those here. I love to sit & watch them.
Enjoy your company.
Hi Skeeter --that is just beautiful!! But he does seem to be on hyperdrive. Hope he gets everything on his list done -- you too!
ReplyDeleteSkeeter,
ReplyDeleteWeed free, huh you mean the weeds are free? Doubt you got all of them, roots too?
Palamedes Swallowtail, we are just out of their range. Once I saw 3 of them flying like puppets on a string over top of each other.
OMGoodness, what a beautiful butterfly. I know those backend blue eyes are fake bu they sure are something else.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy you relaxing time off.
After you do Tina's house and garden you can come do mine! Enjoy your company.
ReplyDeleteGood evening everyone! I have run myself ragged today but it is a good ragged....
ReplyDeleteI knew you would come through for me in the ID'ing Randy! Thanks and he was a really large butterfly and after seeing the size of the Anise, I knew it was not this guy....
It is nice having laughing kids in the house again! Pool time and S'Mores, it gets no better then that....
Everyone of you have a great weekend!
