Snowman Building In Maine

Someone in Maine is enjoying this winter.....

From In the Garden
I'm not sure if my grandson's smile or the snowman's smile is bigger, but...

From In the Garden
all smiles on a cold and frosty day in Maine make for a warm and sunny winter!

in the garden....

Everyone enjoy Martin Luther King Day today.

  3. What a cutie! You all did a great job on the snowman as well. If it weren't for the grandkids, I wouldn't get out in the snow at all:)

  4. When the kids were little no matter how little the snow
that fell in Mississippi, a snowman had to be built although it may have to be gathered from every nook and granny of the yard to get enough.

  8. He is such a doll and a real joy. He has always liked being ouside and on this day, his first time making a big snowman and dressing it up he was in 7th heaven. When it was time to come in he threw a screaming fit!!! BTW Tina....did you notice where his name was written in the snow? They had colored water in soda pop bottles and he had fun with that also.

  10. Hey Mom, I did see it! I was wondering what it was and thought the idea too too neat! How come we never did that as kids? I just can't get over how much he looks like Sarah with that big smile. So bright!

  11. Not sure why no one thought to do that when you girls were small. I saw some stuff in a store to write or draw in the snow shen your girls were small and bought it for them. This winter I said I should get some for Josh and Heather said well we just put food coloring in water. What a great idea as the bought stuff was pricey. Duh on my part.

He is all Sarah except for a couple of moles and telling stories. He is funny as he will say something and then tell me he is telling me a story.
