Green colors fill the Silk Arrangement on my Georgia Mailbox today!
The Bunny's in my Woods are wearing Green as well. It must be about time to celebrate St. Patrick's Day! Also known as a Holy Day of Obligation.
Here in Augusta, GA. we have a fairly large St. Patty's Day parade. St. Patrick's Day is in honor of the Patron Saint of Ireland . I love a parade don't you?
I did not know the color Blue once represented St Patrick's Day. Click Here to find out more about this interesting holiday.
Hurrah, hurrah, it is "almost" a HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY, In the Garden...

ReplyDeleteHappy St Pat's Day to you too Skeeter! I have a little Irish in me. My Great-grandfather was from Dublin. I think St Patrick's Day is a fun holiday to celebrate! And I LOVE Irish proverbs blessings:
ReplyDelete"May your pockets be heavy and your heart be light. May good luck pursue you each morning and night."
I love your bunnies! I hope you have a wonderful St. Patrick's Day! Enjoy the parade! Carla
ReplyDeleteYou must have so much fun dressing up the gang! :-) Such a cheerful group.

ReplyDeleteHappy St. Patricks day to you Skeeter. I had no idea about the blue either.
ReplyDeleteGood Morning all. Another beautiful day today and I need to rush outside. I have a few errands to run then to the garden I go. I have been itching to get out there. I must put on my rubber boots though as the yard is still soggy from our 2 more inches of rain this past weekend! Arggggggg...
ReplyDeleteI'll drop by to visit with yall... Have a glorious day and dont forget to wear your green tomorrow!
As always Skeeter, your holiday decorations are great. I love the green....it is so cheery.
ReplyDeleteI'm embarrassed to say my pink flamingo is still wearing its Santa hat. I have some green felt leftover though and will make it a scarf, quick! I like the idea of decorating your mailbox; I only think to do it for Xmas, but there's no reason to limit it, is there?!
ReplyDeleteI also better hurry and get a Shamrock shake!! (for me, not the flamingo, LOL)
Those bunnies sure to celebrate all the holidays! They do look cute.
