WOW, was my first thought and then I read the above post and that's what she also said. How glorious it would be to have that garden to walk around in every day.
Thanks to Angie and thanks to you for sharing this bit of paradise.
I think at least two months long Darla. Her earlies started about three weeks ago. Now the mids are coming and still we have the lates to come. It is quite a stunning sight.
Geesh, from the start of this post I wanted a bowl of Orange Sherbet! As I scroll the pictures down I could not help but think, I would love to live next door to Angie so I could enjoy the beauty each day. I was so inspired by Wed post that I added another iris to my collection!
I have one question though. In pictures 7-8-9-10 I see wire above the fence with something streaming in the wind. Is that some type of animal deterrent or what is it?
Deer fencing. This house is very near the river and the subdivision is plagued by deer. The wire with streamers helps to keep them away from all of the flowers.
Thanks for taking us on this tour in these two posts, Tina--what a fantastic garden! If I lived closer, I'd definitely buy a Garden Walk ticket just to see this garden up close. I think I've fallen in love with that first salmon pink iris:)
You're right. No words necessary - except maybe "WOW"...

ReplyDeleteYou're right, words are superfluous; feelings matter more. I was sighing all the way through whilst looking at your pictures. Many thanks.
