Another Gift

BY SKEETER
Look at the latest gift for my Georgia Gardens.
I used redwood stain and sealer to give it a bit of color and protection from the weather.
I put it in several different places within my gardens before filling it with dirt and flowers.
I decided the Flag Pole was too bare and needed this little flower garden below. I planted Geraniums and Petunias in this wheelbarrow. I have no idea the color of Geranium as they were bargain purchases with labels saying mix. I wanted to wait until the flowers were in full bloom to share with you but I am ever so anxious to let my parents know what they got me for my Birthday last month. Mom and dad, Thanks for yet ANOTHER GIFT, In the Garden...

**Our latest house guests should be departing today. It has been a fun week and I wish them safe travels back to Tennessee...

    1. Of course you may ask anytime. I found it at the "Christmas Tree Shops" my new favorite store as they have so many interesting things and it changes from week to week! They only seem to get in a limited amount of goodies so if you see something you are interesting in, better get it then or it will be gone once you go back. I so wanted a cute fountains with a dog standing up to the side and I ponder on it and went back two days later and they were all sold out. Sigh.....

Visitors were two friends from TN. The Men left the women home and they came down on a Mens only Getaway Golf Trip. The Saint takes them all over town to different golf courses and they play while I stay home and cook for them. They enjoy being spoilt by me and I enjoy taking care of them and keeping them out of trouble with their wives absent. We gals are going to get a girls only trip planned at some point....They left this morning and I crawled back into bed with the fur girls and it was a nice relaxing nap....

    1. Thanks. I tried it in different places but the flag pole has been screaming at me to perk it up for some time now. I may do more at the pole later on but for now, this will do. I must get use to it there though. I keep walking into the sun Room and the thing startles me as I can see it out the window. I think it is a critter but in time, I shall get over that. LOL...

    1. Thanks Randy! I had never seen one before either. I dont think it could be made as cheaply as it was priced. I really like the look after the staining process. I did not have to stain it but decided it was too light for my taste.

    1. Thanks Tina. When I came home with it, the Saint just shook his head and then put the thing together for me. He so thinks I am cluttering up the gardens. Funny thing, our recent company really seem to like it so the Saint will not complain about it any more. Hee hee....

  5. So cute--I love the way you stain it, and it's perfect by the flagpole.

I have been seeing some of your posts on Facebook, Skeeter, about your visitors and the meals you have been preparing. I think you might get a lot of requests to open your Georgia B&B for real!

    1. I enjoy entertaining Rose, but if I had to do it to earn a living, it would no longer be fun. Then it would become work. We are thinking about making a penny or two during Masters week though as people do pay premiums during that week. Could spent the earnings in the Garden! Dont think the Saint and I eat like that every day as we dont. When I cook for guest's, it is the ole fashioned way with butter and all the non-healthy ways of the past. But oh so yummy. We have some left overs for the remainder of the week then back to our boring dinners. LOL...

    1. Yes, each evening when i walk past the window, it catches my eye and I think it may be a dog. Ha ha, I shall get use to it in time though. Just something different outside my window. And living here in the middle of the woods, well, it could easily be a critter in the yard. LOL...

    1. The Christmas Tree Shops is my new favorite bargain place! Only problem, if you see something and are interested in it, you better get it then or it may be gone the next day.... I missed out on an adorable water fountain so this wheelbarrow was the second choice....
