From In the Garden |
Three years of blogging and as I look back I wonder how time passed so quickly. Blogging has been great with so many ups and so few downs that I still love to blog! Today is a light day for me as I will be relaxing in the garden but I wanted to say to all of you who have ever stopped in to read, to comment, or just to browse-thanks! I want to give a special thanks to all of the regular commenters and readers too! I sometimes feel as though I know you all and that you have become friends. It's been a great three years and I look forward to many more!
I am not normally sentimental but thought 'Butterfly Kisses' by Bob Carlisle would be a treat for anyone who would just like to sit and relax and listen to a lovely song about butterflies and people this morning....

Beautiful music for an early riser { at least this morning}. Very much the kind of music to sit & dream.

Has it been ONLY 3 years? I met you here on the blog but feel like I have known you much longer! You starting this blog has opened so many door for me and my brain. I have met so many wonderful people both in blogland and in person due to "In the Garden." I have and continue to learn new things here, each day and I am most encouraged to go outside to dig in the dirt, pull a weed or just enjoy the beauty surrounding me. This blog has me noticing things I would have never noticed otherwise! So for this, I THANK YOU my friend!!!
ReplyDeleteI remember the first time I ever heard the song “Butterfly Kisses” I was sitting in a chair (while living in Germany) getting my hair cut. My hairdresser stopped cutting my hair to turn up the stereo. This song was playing and she had me listen to it. How funny that I remember that day….
Sorry, my delete. I hit send twice. Duh....

Congratulations on your blogaversary, Tina! It's been such a pleasure to get to know you through your blog, and one day I hope to meet you in person. Lisa, Beckie, and I are still talking about taking a Tennessee road trip one of these days:) I've learned so many useful tips through reading your posts, and you have always been one of the most faithful--and quickest!--commenters ever. Beckie and I were just commenting the other day after our friend Cheryl left how much blogging has enriched our lives. Here's to another three years--at least!
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed the song, too.
Congrats Tina. It's been a pleasure visiting your site and conversing with you, Happy blogging.

ReplyDeleteAh, where do the years get to? Happy Blogiversary!
ReplyDeleteAWESOME 3 YEARS!!!!!!! I might be a tad prejudice but mothers have a way of being a tad prejudice when it comes to her kids. Now maybe I should be serious for a mintue. I also did not know what a blog was 3 years ago. I had an idea that blogs were something naughty. You have inspired me to get back to gardening after many years of not gardening and I am LOVING every second of it....planning, planting, tending, watching a small seed turn into something magical and the wonderful rewards of eating fresh veggies!!! I am so much aware of everything around me when outside. Having a daily contact with my dear daughter that lives over a thousand miles away is also great. All the really awesome and special friends I have met is the best for sure. Thanks for it all!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteJean, I couldn't have said it any better. My sentiments exactly.
ReplyDeleteMay all have a wonderful day tomorrow.
I know I'm late but have been knee deep in mud trying to get everything planted.
ReplyDeleteCONGRATULATIONS on 3 years blogging. I'm so glad you're still enjoying it as I'd hate to see ya go! I learn and enjoy so much from your blog. And also feel like we are getting to be old friends.
Love the music . . .
Congratulations on your three years of blogging. It is a lovely way to meet people and share information. Have a good day!
