Mr. Fix-it meeting his first grandchild in the spring of 2007 in Evansville Indiana.
My husband Roger, aka Mr. Fix-it, is the most family oriented, wonderful, responsible man I know. He is my heart. He has recently retired from the United States Army after more than twenty years of stellar military service including several deployments and many long work days supporting our country's defense. Congratulations to Roger for making it to retirement! I know you both have made many sacrifices with your active duty time. I respect people such as y’all for being brave enough to sign the dotted line. People like me could never do such a thing. Many many thanks to you both for keeping us safe at night during your time served. Now you can stay out of harms way (hopefully) and be together more then ever before! This will surely be an adjustment for you both. One Chapter of your life closed and a new chapter Open. You two are my hero’s!
