Soothing Swing

By SKEETER

I have had some family members visit me here in my Georgia Gardens the past few days. It has been nice sitting back and enjoying some of my surroundings such as my swing.
The Cardinal Climber and Cypress Vine mix on the arbor are really looking wonderful right now. Butterflies, Hummingbirds and Bees have been enjoying it as much as myself. My dad was shocked as there were no wasp nest within the thick vines. I have not had them as of yet and I hope he has not jinx me by saying that. Because I enjoy my SOOTHING SWING, In the Garden...

  8. Good Morning everyone. My family have parted and it is way too quiet in the house today. Sigh....

Tanya, no scent from these red beauties but 4 O’Clocks, Angel Trumpets and Butterfly Bush in this area fill the air as I sway in the swing…

Rebecca, It is such a vibrant shade of red and so full of blooms….

Flower lady, I am so happy with the look of these vines. It reminds me of a secret hide away type space in the garden…

Darla, this is the second year for these vines and I had the cypress vine all over the place! It was a challenge keeping it at bay but I so enjoy the look on the swing that I will do whatever to keep it at bay. Well, for now anyway, next year may be a different story…

Tina, I have had a ball and the fun will continue in a few weeks!

Andrea, I have taken a nap or two on this swing! It IS that soothing…I shall pop on over now and see the marigold…

    Everyone have a great day!

  14. Wow! Look at those vines! My cardinal vine did well this year, too, but not nearly as thick as yours. But I planted mine next to a hyacinth bean vine, so it had to fight for room to grow:)

  15. That vine is a stunner. I am horribly afraid of spiders so I probably wouldn't sit in the swing for fear of one jumping on me. I know, it's silly.
