Met new friends.
And had pizza!
We went on a boat ride at the lake. We are enjoying the kids.
And I think they are enjoying us as well. Here they are swimming in the lake. Here I am with the kids helping me swim. My brother is letting me have fun with his grandchildren. I helped the kids build their very first Sand Castle.
Uncle "Saint" let them drive the boat.
Concentration was deep for the young drivers.
As we swam and played in this cove, a Bald Eagle watched over us the entire time! It's mate flew over head a few times and it was an awesome sighting.
We are sure having FAMILY FUN, In the Garden...

ReplyDeleteLooks like a big time and I adore those missing front teeth on the children!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun time! Cute kids! The Bald Eagle is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen a bald eagle in the wild before--how exciting, Skeeter! Looks like you are having a great time, and the nieces and nephews must appreciate having Uncle Saint and Aunt Skeeter around to help them with their fun. Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteGood morning! Looks like you all are having fun! Wowser on the eagle! Such a great photo!! We've seen them at LBL but could never capture a photo. They are like 5 feet tall it seems like!

ReplyDeleteMy GGS has lost his & one has come in already but the other one sure is taking it's time. The younger GGS has lost his & they've come back in.
Love that eagle. We use to go to hunting club grounds & watch them with young. That sure was a thrill.

ReplyDeleteSpotting the eagle must have been cool for the kids. What a beauty!
Looks like a special day. It reminds me of some times I have had with my own children. No grandchildren yet, so I really miss those days! The eagle is very cool!
ReplyDeleteI bet they are having a great time with you. I bet they really loved the lake a driving the boat. The eagle is just huge. I get excited every time I see one since they were endangered when we were kids and we never saw them.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you're finding ways to stay cool! It's always good to have an excuse to make sand castles :)
