Husky Guy

By SKEETER
Husker Red Beard Tongue is blooming in my Georgia Garden.
He is thriving and becoming larger each year with little attention from me!
Husker even gave me a baby! My kind of Husky Guy, In the Garden...

  1. Skeeter,

These are all over a front yard near where I'm working must be fertilized as they are huge and looking great.

  2. My husband (a husky guy himself) wanted a start of this when we saw it a few years ago in a friend's flower bed. Ours are not blooming yet, but I HAVE divided it a SEVERAL times since acquiring it.

  3. It's a beauty. Love that red foliage. I haven't seen any offspring of Husky in my garden so lucky you!

  4. Good Morning everyone! Coolness in the air and I have plans to tackle a renovation project alone today. Wish me luck :-)

Husker is a wonderful plant with red/green color and dainty white blooms. I do nothing to this plant but enjoy it! Great plant in the garden...

    Everyone have a great day!

  5. He looks pure and handsome :) Doesn't he grow in vertical bunches, similar to snapdragon?

  10. Evening all.
I've heard of this plant but never saw one. Yours is a beauty. Love the coloring. It would go perfect in my finished Back Corner Garden.
    Anxious to see the redo.

We always laughed when we were kids and boys pants at the store had the lable "husky". Not sure why we thought it was funny.
