  1. Gorgeous new blooms! I just bought 'Goldcrest' on Mother's Day! And I have Coppertina although it's not blooming now. We seem to have lots of similar plants in our garden :)
I've been really busy too, blogging is always the first thing to go, but I sure miss seeing what everyone has going on this time of year.

  2. Thank you tina for those beautiful flowers! Oh I found bellflowers in your garden. I have the same flowers in my backyard. The same color! I love them. Mine form buds but are not yet in bloom. Your yellow lilies are gorgeous! My lilies have buds too. I suppose it is warmer there than here.

  3. I'm so jealous of your foxglove -- we have the wild kind that grows in our conservation acres, but I've never had any luck with the hybrid type. Just beautiful!

  4. Oh my, what lovely blooms. I can tell that you have been very busy. Gardening is never done.
I've been out trying to get more room for more tomato plants that I started from seed. Brandy wine & a yellow that I can't remember just now.
I've got a couple projects going at the same time. Crazy, huh!!!!!

  5. Catherine, Yes indeed! We do share many of the same plants and would most likely feel most at home in each others gardens. A nice thing.

Sapphire, It's so wonderful blogging brings us all closer together-all the way from Japan to Tennessee even. Those bellflowers were a gift from a fellow gardener and I love them. I'll think of them growing in your garden now too!

Nancy, The 'Goldcrest' is my favorite. I can't grow any of the others but this one is completely different and so easy. Give it a try.

Lola, Stay busy! It's a good thing for sure. I've been so busy I thought I had mailed you a box but found it just yesterday. It is now on its way to you. I'm embarrassed I forgot it.

Nell Jean, They are most sweet and sure provide a punch of color.

  8. Wow - that iris is a stunner! I'm so sad that my foxglove doesn't seem to have done any re-seeding. Looking good there, Tina!

  10. Tina, It’s another wonderful rainy Spring day, so I’m taking time to look over the Blogs I follow. Wanted to see what you have been up to. Seems to me all is doing really well for your garden. Still have weeks to wait here for the rush of blooms I see in your photos. Nice. Being a little North of you (lets make that lots!) it is still rather cool and rainy as is today. So I work at patience. I'll check in again soon. Jack

  12. I love all the peachy colors. Has your ninebark ever gotten some kind of fuzzy white mites or scale? My GBBD post is going to include a link to your blog and a photo just for you.

  13. Hi all! I hope your day is going as well as mine. I'm all done with a design and actually got in some garden time. Woohoo!

Carolyn, No, my ninebarks have never gotten any fungus or mite. In fact, I love them so much I always add more given the opportunity. I prefer the straight green species over the red leaved ones like Coppertina and find ninebarks are SO easy here. I will be looking for your GBBD post. Can't wait to see what the picture is!

  16. Wooo Hoooo We are getting some much needed rain. I don't like the thunder tho. It rained real good today, then sun came out late so I worked some more in the Back Corner Garden. I couldn't believe how dry it was just an inch down. Thundering now & raining. It will make things jump. I have 2 ears forming on my corn.

  19. Love the raindrops on that iris! WE had about a 1/4 inch of well needed rain. We need so much more too as it is dry down here! But the front took away the humidity which is wonderful for me....

  20. Gorgeous blooms Tina, I see you've been getting some rain too. :)

  21. That first photo with the raindrops on the iris is about as awesome as it gets and the coppertina runs as a very close second!!

  23. For reasons not known, you remain UNPICKABLE on Blotanical. When first I tried, there were no picks. Now there are 3, apparently from Deep Middle, but I still can't pick.

  25. I love the ninebark. I'm still looking for a copper coloured one for my garden.

  26. Nell Jean, I read where Stuart said the code for picks on Blotanical is bad or something. It's no problem on the picks. I appreciate you checking in on the blog anytime.
