I've Got My Brand

Okay, we all know I can talk, sometimes a bit too much. Then comes the two times a day posts. I once said early on this blog I could talk gardening three times a day for a year and not cover the same subject. This post is short. (I promise!) I have just been so excited with my new decal on my car I wanted to share it. So, if you see me around Tennessee (hopefully I am not driving badly!), just wave!

I've got my brand! No doubt about it. I have found my niche and where I am happiest-In the Garden of course! To let the world know, Mr. Fix-it bought me a windshield decal and put it on my little black Buick. Isn't he sweet?

When Mr. Fix-it retires in a few years, we will most likely open a business together. Not sure what it will be, but it will surely be something that we both like and are good at. He has agreed the name of the business will be Tiger Enterprises because In the Garden just won't work for him. Tiger Enterprises is a combination of our names (Tina and Roger hence TI-GER). It is also the name I am calling my gardens. Soon I will have a sign that tells the world that bit of information, but for now, they can all see my brand and it is In the Garden....

  1. That looks like a sunshade. On the windshield like a wet cling? Where in the world did Roger get that!? It's nice.

  2. It is an outside thing a majiggy and he bought it at a flea market booth for $20. I thought that pretty good. You can get anything you want it to say and the guy who made it put the info on a computer and did a professional job. I had always wanted one but didn't know where to get it. This was the first time I had found this kind of thing but knew they could do it. Now if I could just tone down my bad driving so people won't recognize me so much. lol

Frances, I have been looking for a post today and I miss it when you don't post! I really do. I do mine, then head to all the ones I read, you for sure being one of them. I usually comment too, but not always. Are you still busy weeding? Never ending job. sigh.

  3. Hi Tina --that is so cool! We had a busy day afterall --not in the yard though. We went to church tonight and then grocery shopping at the commissary. Yikes!!! They switched everything around so it was taking alot longer than usual. Tomorrow the kiddos are running the 5K in town. I hope the weather isn't too crummy. The girl model is attempting it too --I will stay very close to her. Nope, I can't run the race --I will be by her side the entire time to make sure she is okay:) Really excited --just hope they all finish -if not at least give it there best, kwim?

  4. Those kids will do fine. Is the sidekick running or is mom pushing him in the running stroller?

  5. That is so neat! I did not know you could get them personalized. When people see that, you will have them talking garden with you! And I like the business name too. That’s very creative... Wonder if the Saint and I have a neat name from our names. Hummmm Saint Skeeter, I guess… LOL…

Saint and I were up late watching a movie and will probably sleep in tomorrow so I will send the new posting now. It is 1:15 in the late night or early morning here in GA but you are an hour behind us in TN so it is officially Sunday! LOL…

  9. Skeeter, Yes, I knew you could personalize them but never found the spot that was somewhat affordable. The machine was top knotch and it was so easy. You need to get one that says "Skeeter". It would fit!

Amy, Thanks for stopping by. I cannot imagine the first time ever getting a crocus. I will add you to my sidebar and visit often. High and dry is apt. I have often wondered if I could garden elsewhere that is different from here. No, I can't. I could not garden in southern Alabama-too hot and too many red ants. Funny though some plants I planted 13 years ago are still growing and blooming but even though they survived, I could not. Do you love your conditions or long for others?

Jillybean, Are you doing ok? I hope the daffys please you each year. I gave a clump to a fellow freecycler yesterday and she surprised me by saying hers usually don't return when she divides things so she is hesitant to divide. All different views on gardening. I assured her those daffys will-as will yours but it may take two years for blooms.

Morning Mom, You know how awesome this guy I married is. I wish I were half the person he is to put up with me!

Gail-Good morning. I will be easy to spot in Nashville won't I? Notice there is no web address, so I am still kind of anonymous. Some folks in Clarksville may know what it means but not necessarily. Gotta drive nice now...

  10. Hey Mom.
The sticker is like the ones I have on my Jeep. Mine are all custom made. I get them really cheap from the guy and he can do anything. I only paid $5 for the Let It Snow one with all the snowflakes. Also got the Bella with paw for $5. If you want anymore let me know and I can give my guy a call for you. People who work races cars and business lettering usually do things like that too.

  11. Boy Christine I was about to drop dead hearing from you on here! Glad you came to talk-finally! I am always happy to talk to anyone-especially my first born daughter!

At first I thought you were Liz, then I saw the Bella and knew it to be you.

I knew people did it but never knew where since I don't go anywhere but the flea markets and thrift shops. If anyone wants any I'll let you know. We may get one for Mr. Fix-it's truck. He already had one for the fierro. I wanted him to get an Army one as a recruiting tool, he said NO THANKS!

Well, love you-so nice talking with you! It is a conversation you know!

  14. christinelynn-are you getting the hang of this? I like the name much better than anonymous. Our other anonymous on here is a regular and while you can use it certainly, it is good you signed your name as I get confused! You will meet them all. Anonymous, Lola, Skeeter, Nina, Gail, David, Mom (Mimi), and your Aunt Dawn. ttyl

  15. Hey Christy, welcome, welcome, welcome. Good to see you on here and hope you come often. Now that no school is coming up you will have more time and maybe you can use some of the extra time on here.

Tina, well she is your first born but only by 1 mintue and since we all got to see Elizabeth first I call it pretty much a toss up! Nana and I were in front of the nursery when they brought Elizabeth out and I cried!! Then after they worked on Christy and got her settled in the special care nursery they let us go see her. What a day it was! I do not even remember how long before you saw them? I know they brought Elizabeth to you for feeding but don't think they did Christy for a couple of days cause they could not unhook all the tubes. You were pretty much out of it for a couple of days anyway.

  16. Mimi are you kidding! My life is only getting busier! I have enrolled in the Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management. That will not be done until June of next year. I think that I have found a part-time job. Taking care of a 17 month old 2-3 nights a week. I think that will be fun and much better then working 5 nights a week. Plus after she goes to bed I can study. I am going to meet the family on Monday. Love you guys.

  17. Christinelynn, We are about to lose this post as I only keep five at a time. Come up to today's post and we can continue there.

Graduate Certificate in Human Resource? Great! When will school ever end I bet you are asking yourself.

Good luck on the job. You would be awesome taking care of a 17 month old since you help out so much with Josh. 2-3 nights is not so bad. love ya
